Traffic & Ground Ops

Seven plugins for traffic and ground operations. In the air, LiveTraffic renders real-world ADS-B traffic with TCAS integration. On the ground, Better Pushback replaces the default pushback with a route planner and a 3D tug, and Follow the Greens adds A-SMGCS taxiway guidance with green centerline lights and stop bars. Three plugins handle gates: on X-Plane 12, openSAM is the one to install — the free replacement for the SAM plugin, which since v5 also includes the docking guidance for over 5,000 Gateway airports formerly provided by AutoDGS; the standalone AutoDGS is deprecated and only relevant on X-Plane 11. AutoGate is the legacy plugin for sceneries built with the AutoGate toolkit, maintained for XP12. XPAIS Marine Traffic puts live AIS ship traffic on the water — open source, but archived since July 2026.

All seven run on Linux: six with native binaries, Follow the Greens via XPPython3 (see Scripting).
